Help hatching chicks

Hi all I am hatching eggs in an incubator 10 of the 17 hatched already and more are pipping, one of my chicks in the process of hatching got its leg stuck in the hole it made, it is like that for at least 2 hours, what should I do?

For the stuck leg, you can wait a while because it might fix itself, or you can try to break enough shell to free the leg.

Either choice could be reasonable in this case.

Thanks, is there a concern that the other eggs that pipped will be shrinkwrapped if I open it? If you take the one out and close the incubator, and then put it back quickly afterward, I think they will probably be fine. Opening the incubator briefly once or twice is not usually a problem.

Or you can wait until all the others hatch, and then help if it still seems stuck. There would be no risk of shrinkwrapping the other chicks at that point.

Thanks for your replies. I assisted the chick and he's fully hatched and doing great!
The oldest is 27 hours old when should I take them out? It's nearly day 22 and 5 of the 17 didn't hatch, ones pipped
