please help!!!
2 of my girls are gone and 1 is very injured!! She has lost 1 eye and just lays here. She will wake up if I pick her up and drank a little water. What do I do??? I’m devastated!!!!

First you need to treat for shock. Get her into a warm, quiet, low light place and do the best you can to gently check her over for any other wounds or injuries. She needs to stay warm and hydrated. Putting electrolites in the water can help with the shock. If she has any wounds that are visible clean them the best you can, but be aware that handling her too much at this point can make the shock worse. It's a judgement call on what really needs to be done immediately. If the wounds are minor, then let her recover a while before messing with them. You can use sterile saline, chlorhexadine, or veterycin spray to clean any wounds and then a plain antibiotic ointment on them. If you post pictures of specific wounds it will help getting more specific advice on treating them.
If your other birds are 'gone', and you didn't mean killed, they may be hiding. Check your coop at dusk to see if they return.

Thank you all so much for your help. Yes im sure it was a hawk, I pulled it off her. She is at the animal hospital and doing ok. I think she will make it, but has lost one eye.
And the best news...I found my other 2 girls hiding in a closet on my patio...they are fine, just scared!!!!

Yay! So glad that they made it! :wee:hugs

Thank you everyone. She is all healed up (except for her eye) and back in the coop. I’m concerned though because she seems to be very seperated from the other 3. They always all roosted together on one side, now she’s on other side alone. Is this normal?
