I agree with everyone else on here that it is imperative to go pick up the chicks. There are ways to set up a brooder without spending any money. As far as feeders and waterers, they can be made from old milk jugs, tupperware lids, saucers, you name it. Just need something to hold the food and water for them to be able to get to.
Also let us know what breed they are. There are many of us on here willing to help you recoup your costs if the hatchery does not refund you. Shoot I am from NJ and am thinking of making a roadtrip tomorrow if needed and that's a 500 mile, 8+ hour one way trip.
