I have eggs that are about to hatch under my broody's in the main coop....i've now blocked them in by themselves as I caught one of my none broody's pecking away at a fertile egg......the egg is on it's 20th day of incubation and is still alive (half of it's shell has been pecked off) ..... i have no idea if it will survive (most probably more human to let it die) but i'll try to save it and i'm not too sure how to go about it....i've put it in the incubator under a plastic container with a swab of wet paper next to it (nothing is in contact with the chick).....is there any other thing that could help the little chicks survival?

never mind, we thought the best call was to humanly cull the little chick as it was getting more and more stuck to the shell
