It looks like a nice healthy healing wound to me and I would second those that have told the OP she is doing a great job.

MediHoney or raw, unprocessed honey from a local beekeeper or granulated sugar can be helpful on such wounds to keep them moist and encourage skin repair. I know that may seem odd but others here on BYC have documented their successful use on such wounds.
