Do you think there still might be soap in it? Hopefully, she will settle down. You also could try tearing an old tshirt and pinning it or a dish towel around her wound if she keeps pecking it.

I washed it out pretty good and put a paper towel under her wing to keep her from pecking itDo you think there still might be soap in it? Hopefully, she will settle down. You also could try tearing an old tshirt and pinning it or a dish towel around her wound if she keeps pecking it.
Yay thank you! I will keep trying!Yes, I think it looks a lot better. Keep up the good work.
She’s eating cooked eggs with yogurt on top, drinking water and pedialtye. I gave her some fix mox today (put 250 mg in with her egg and yogurt). She’s moving every now and again, just not the most stabilized. Her poop has a lot more green in it (still has some yellow mucus looking stuff) and it’s a lot more than before. Is she eating and drinking better? How is her activity? And what are her poops like?
Yay good! I actually bought her at a poultry auction a few months back (the guy who I bid against was buying birds to slaughter) so I jumped in and won the bid. When I got her home she basically hated me from day one and was the only chicken who I haven’t really connected with until now! LOL. Now she still snaps at my husband or the dogs and just loves me I’m still trying to think of a name. She’s the only chicken out of my 38 that doesn’t have a name! LolThat looks a lot better
Does she have a name?
She is a very beautiful bird
