Help - hen barely walking and found hole in her side

You have to be very careful if you are flushing a wound that is entering the abdominal cavity that can set up peritonitis. The edges of the 1st pics look almost healed, how many days ago do you think the incident happened?
When did the bad smell begin? If it is a ruptured abcess that would account for the smell. Pluck feathers around the area it will need air and the cleaner the area the faster it will heal. Be sure she has a heat source since it can affect her immune system.

Thank you! I’m honestly not sure when it happened. The bad smell was right after I looked at it and noticed the injury. I have had her under a heat lamp when I’m home because if I take the top off the dog crate she tends to try and escape when she gets bored. Her poop is extremely green now - I’ll attach a pic

She probably doesn’t need extra heat if she is inside. Is she still eating well? Do you have any cottage cheese or yogurt that you could add to her food and egg? The green is probably because she still is not taking enough food. But it looks better than her first poop picture with the bright yellow liquid. I mix warm water with yogurt and sprainkle some egg into the mash when I have a sick chicken.

She’s been eating like crazy (slowly but surely) and so I have to sit there with her cuz if I leave she tries to move around and since she hasn’t been able to walk around much at all she usually ends up spilling the rest of the food by the time I come back I’ve been feeding her cooked eggs, and putting the fix mox in yougurt and putting the yogurt on top so she eats it all. She loves her yogurt. And she lovesss minced garlic so I’ve been giving her a little of that as well as some of the grain I feed the chickens.

I would use chicken feed wet with water as the primary food, plus some egg since it has all the balanced nutrients she needs. But a girl has to have some other treats once in awhile. The antibiotics can be causing diarrhea, but the yogurt is helpful.

**UPDATE -

Faith is walking around a lot more and the hole seems to have gotten significantly smaller. She's eating and drinking and acting more like her usual self! I can't thank you all enough for the support and help!!

Thank you! Just kept her on Baytril 10% daily along with that Fish Mox (250mg) - ordered that medicated honey and kept that on her after spraying the wound good with that Vetericyn spray 2-3 times a day. Gave her Pedialtye in her water as well. She didn't like almost 99% of anything I did, but oh well LOL. I still have her in the house just to keep her away from the other chickens pecking her wound. I plan to get her back outside in maybe another 2 weeks or so. Don't want to put her out too early and put us back to square 1.
