Help hen having trouble breathing, pale comb!

So we've had her on baytril for for days now (also still doing oxine treatments) and im not sure that the baytril is helping...
We nearly lost our little girl today... She started choking and bringing her head really far back and couldn't take in any air... Her comb was purple... We set up her oxine mist and she regained the color in her comb and can stand again but still sparatically gasping.
We are going to discontinue the use of baytril and go back to treating for canker... We still have the metronidazole plan to give 1/4 tab 2x/ day... I got some acidified copper sulfate, should I give her that too... Thought I had read somewhere that activated charcoal can help dry up the canker... Does anyone know if that's true?

I do believe you can give the Acidified Copper Sulfate with the Metronidazole (@casportpony correct me if I'm wrong). The ACS is given for only 3 days and you want to use it in non metal containers.

As for the Activated Charcoal, I have not seen it mentioned being used to dry up Canker. If you find the article/what you read, please post it, I would be interested.

We just lost her... I heard her flopping around in her cage, I ran it to check on her and she had stopped breathing...

I have the acitified copper sulfate and would like to give it to her previous coop mates... There are 5 chickens and 2 chicks in there... Can someone tell me the proper amount of the acs powder to put in 1 gallon of water?

Yeah... It was over a 2 week battle trying to get her better... Now I have to focus on doing the best i can to prevent this from happening again.
I was couldn't use the directions off the package that I got as it told me to mix the whole package into 2 gallons of water and use a certain amount of that mixture per gallon of water... Are there different kinds of ACIDIFIED copper sulfate? I've heard 1/4 tsp per gallon but also read something that said 1/8 tsp per gallon. This is the kind I got...

So I just double checked my bag vs your bag and the instructions are the same more or less. Both of our bags are 16 ounces and both say that 16 ounces make 256 gallons.

So I got my geek on...
Your bag is 453.6 grams and makes 256 gallons
453.6 / 256 = ~1.77 grams per gallon

I broke out the gram scale and weighed the powder. 1/4 teaspoon weighs ~1.8 grams, so if you want to use it according to the instructions on the package, it's 1/4 teaspoon per gallon, not 1/8 teaspoon.

Thanks to all who responded to my many questions and to casportpony for taking the extra time to break that all down... I feel much better about using 1/4 tsp now...
Although we didn't get the outcome we had hoped for... I want you all to know that we appreciate all of your input and quick responses as well as your condolences for our loss of our little girl Nix. We will definitely miss her but I am greatful to have had that time to give her extra love and attention.

Dear, I think its Chronic respiratory Disease (C.R.D) as the symptoms you mentioned relates to it. I can suggest you homeoathic medicine if its available near you. Sneezing, Coughing Antim Combination of Thuja200+Nat sulf200+Carboveg200+Bryonia200, 5ml each in 8 liter of water for 100 birds for 3 days.
