Thanks so much! Yes he's a cool guy.. we'll miss him. From your experience are there ever roosters that don't crow? That's why we'd have to get rid of him since we aren't really supposed to have chickens in the first place. I think he tries to this morning. Not loud but finding his voice I'm guessing.

They all crow. Sorry.
Take the best pictures you can of him with a pretty background, down at his level and post ads for him on CL and any local FB Poultry groups in your area. I've successfully rehomed 7 cockerels this way.
