Help! Hen with possible sour crop and worms.

Thanks! Me too! Now hopefully all the worms get out of her and her crop goes down.

I keep checking her poop and I didn’t see any segments this morning. So, will that dose I gave her try and rid them all at once, or should I expect to possibly see some within the next few days as well?

If you aren't seeing any worms or segments in the next couple of days, you probably got the live ones. If you start to see them again, I would redose. And remember you need to redose at 10 days after the last dose to get any eggs that have hatched.

I would also watch her poop for the next month. Tapes can be difficult to kill off. You will need to become a poop inspector like @casportpony Kathy. (I always look at poop, tells you so much about the bird's health)

I put in a poop board just for this reason. Scoop daily and you know when something's wrong, and can often tell who has the problem.
TwoCrows, do you recommend using acidified copper sulfate for worms &/or fungus? Or as a last resort if nothing else has worked?

Acidified Copper Sulfate will not kill worms, but it does a great job on internal yeasts. If I've got a bird with stubborn yeast, especially doughy yeasts that don't respond to Copper Sulfate, I use my spice mix on them. Guaranteed to break down the worst cases of yeast.

1/16 teaspoon Ginger powder
1/16 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1/16 Cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice

Syringed slowly under the tongue, this entire mix is given 3 times daily.

Copper Sulfate will kill some species of Coccidiosis too, but you are better off with Corid when it comes to Coccidia.

I will definitely be keeping an extra close eye on her poops. I only have 6 hens and am constantly picking up their poop, so I always try to keep an eye on things and who’s pooping what.lol I never even noticed the tapes until she starting pooping the all white poops.
One more thing I forgot to ask...is it okay that she eating soft foods, like damp layer crumble, or hard boiled eggs?

She is free to eat anything at this point, worms or yeast, these are easy to digest foods and won't cause yeast to grow. Avoid fruits and hard foods for a while till you get this cleared up.

Update: Fern Meadow is finally pooping normal looking poops! Under her roost spot during the night and this morning, she has had normal, solid looking poops with a nice white cap. I haven't seen any worms, but will continue to keep a close eye on that. Her crop wasn't fully empty, but it was even less full than what it was yesterday morning, so there is definite improvement. It felt golf ball sized...not watery and squishy, but not hard and impacted. I still have her isolated in the run during the day with only water and damp feed. Her mood and activity level seem great and I can tell she's just dying to be out running around. Other than continuing with her monistat treatment and crop massages, is there anything else I should be doing for her?
