I had a serama cockerel with a slight cross-beak. I trimmed it a time or two, but he was eating fine, so I let it go. Didn't plan to keep him long. Well, I still have him, almost a year later, and noticed that his beak is fine now. I can tell the bottom half is just a smidge slanted, but the top covers the whole bottom now, where it only covered about three-quarters of it before. Its like he healed himself!

Oh, wow, that's wonderful! I don't think I can count on that happening for Little Miss Crossbeak, though I can manually adjust her jaw and lower mandible so that the lower beak is under the upper. But she doesn't like it at all! Nonetheless, I try to do that and massage her jaw for a little bit each day, hoping that as she grows, we might be able to help her grow in a better direction. It's a hail Mary, but it's what I've got.
