I still have turkey hens trying to become unauthorized incubators.

I sold one hen and tom last week. I had to pull her off of her nest before the buyer got here.
Your buyer may like that! If she stays broody, s/he will get more birds for their original dollar!

Nope, she isn't laying eggs and likely won't until next spring. She still had about two weeks to go on the fake eggs I gave her when I took her real eggs.
 
I'm planning on walking around to all of my new neighbours with an offering of quail eggs and an apology for noise while my house is being built. I want to have a good relationship with the neighbours, even the one whose shed may be on my property.

That can be a tricky situation. If the shed was placed there with the permission of the property owner at the time, there is no problem other than having to tell them to move the shed.

If the shed was placed there without the permission of the former property owner and allowed to remain there for a certain number of years, the shed owner may now have a legal right to ownership of the property that the shed is sitting on.
