I'm planning on walking around to all of my new neighbours with an offering of quail eggs and an apology for noise while my house is being built. I want to have a good relationship with the neighbours, even the one whose shed may be on my property.
You can always thank them for the extra coop - you always wanted a free shed, right?

That can be a tricky situation. If the shed was placed there with the permission of the property owner at the time, there is no problem other than having to tell them to move the shed.

If the shed was placed there without the permission of the former property owner and allowed to remain there for a certain number of years, the shed owner may now have a legal right to ownership of the property that the shed is sitting on.
