I have! My Sammy (Nankin rooster) used to go everywhere with me. Now I leave him with the girls. My beetle-green/black chicken is a JG hen and she's MUCH too heavy to be headgear! But ... I do have a very pretty , midsized Silkie/NHR cross who got some beautiful black laced blue plumage from her splash Daddy. She might be a better choice ... but she's nowhere near housetrained ...

It wont be the first time I awoke to find a chicken sleeping above my head on my pillow, yes on my bed. yes, in the house. I have a special perch set up, but they prefer to be closer to me I guess. (And wont be the last time either)
