HELP! I am now mama to 17 duck eggs and lost as can be...

I swear when I desided to help I sure didn't think I was going to go through all these emotions.

I have done nnothing since Tuesday but serch ducks online and pens. I think my hubby thinks I have lost my mind and not sure what he thinks about them all being in the familyroom with us. I had 2 ducks as child and have such fond memories of them. There is still no change in the eggs

I am so very excited!!! The air sacs are so big I wonder if something is wrong?

At samuelsonfarm I am the same way! I saw this last night and was telling girls at work about it. I really hope the ducklings make it!!!

This waiting game is AWFUL!!! I still don't see a internal pip. Out of the eggs 12 of the 15 look great. The air sacs seem prett large.After they internally pip how long before they externally pip?

Ahh, I loved the video! Speaking of witch when should I let them get in shallow water? I know they will tire easy.

They can be in shallow water as young as 2 days old if warm and supervised.

Update: One duckling pip internaly this morning but it hasn't externaly. It is in the same exact spot as this morning. Is that weird. Please remember I don't have an incubator so I have been doing this all this time myself

I do see others moving a tiny bit and another that is close to pip internaly. I am soooooooo tired and a wreak!!! Oh and incase none of you see my other post lest me ask other ?s too lol. I got pine bedding for Tractor suply for bedding. Is that ok? I have a large tote, baby feeder, baby water and heat lamp. Is that everything? Ok on the food I got Friday from the feed store I found that is chick starter/grower so I went and bought chick starter from Tractor suply ( alot more $$$ ). After about every store are looking for niacin I found some at Walgreans. Everywhere was time release or flush free so the pharmacist got me some from behind the counter. It is 100mg tablets. I hope they disolve good! Thank you all for reading my post and helping me.

Full blown panic mode here!!! This morning I candled all my eggs and seen ALOT of differences. The air sac for the last 2 days has been very large and by all accounts full term so to speak. Today the sacs were still large but like a light orange below and I can see the ducklings. Some are moving!!! I am worried because they seem stuck at the bottom and can't get into the air sacks. Is that weird?

Haven't heard of that particular description before but I don't hatch with out a mama duck so it could be normal. the only way they are going to get to the air sac is to internal pip then they will be in the air sac. I think you need to try not to panic and keep watching once they break through the membrane inside then you'll see their bills just like on the video yesterday. What all are you doing? still misting ?
