I agree with waiting. But don’t stop checking on it. You definitely don’t want it to explode in your incubator.
If you have never watched a broody hen hatch eggs, hatching in an incubator can be quite frustrating. I’ve had the pleasure of having many broodies, and I recently added a WiFi camera to watch a broody duck’s final week with eggs. I was amazed at how often she moves the eggs! She was constantly building up her nest, dragging bedding and feathers, then adjusting the eggs, and making a bowl in the middle. She would turn her body and move the eggs around. She stood up quite often, and stepped away from the eggs. She continued to do this, even after the first few hatched. She barely slept. She would sit still for maybe 10 minutes at a time. It was truly amazing.
Sorry, didn’t mean to go on and on, but I think we worry ourselves to much with incubator hatching. They aren’t as fragile as we think.
