Help!!! I don't know what to do with my last living duck egg

Next time you set eggs, collect your eggs and store them at room temp. I like to put a book under one side of the carton and switch sides every day. You can collect eggs for up to ten days without effecting hatch rates. Older eggs are less likely to hatch. When you're ready to set them, set them all and day 1 is the day after you set them.

Before he is ready to pip he will fill the whole egg to a point that there is basically no point in candling at all. Then they internally pip before finally making it out.

If your temperatures were low then he could possibly take another day (like mine did this year) so I'd say put your humidity up and wait. Which can be hard but at this point there is not much you can do.

Is there a way you could post a picture?
Also how do you turn your eggs?

I have an egg Turner automatic

If you're on day 26 or 27, sit on your hands and try to relax. Definitely post a picture of the egg while candling.[/QUOThere]
Here are images best I could get pics of top and bottom of egg and candeled pics

If you are able to see any movement it should be by the end of the air cell. Right now I'd do as rjohns39 suggested - stick it in the incubator and sit on your hands if you must :) :fl

The only movement I've seen in 4 days has been at the bottom (pointy) end of the egg. I can see him fidgeting sometimes and sometimes he's still as could be. Candeled yesterday afternoon no movement candeled last night movement at the pointy end no movement at top near air cell... What could this be??

it's getting into position for hatch. You're at that horrible point of just wait. as long as the eggs don't stink, just wait. I once tossed what I thought were confirmed dead eggs into the compost bin, just to find a very feisty live chick staring up at me a couple hours later. She's now in my breeding program.
