Help! I have a one month old chick who accidentally got slammed in my room door

Also not sure if it was covered, but dying eggs and chicks isn't always bad. Some people will do this method so they know which chicks came from which eggs (different colored dyes for different breeds)
I have read about injecting dye to color the chicks in the egg, I hadn’t considered the immense benefits of being able to label the chicks at birth without trying to see who came from what egg and using leg bands.

That makes sense. I thought they died them after hatch, I was gonna be like, poor chick! This is much more humane, and very interesting honestly.

Some do dye after hatch, since it's pretty hard and I'd imagine at first you'd break eggs trying. But usually those are ones being sold for decorations and Easter baskets

I was thinking this too, but didn't know how much it would help. Here is a video if you wan to try it out, try to get him sitting upright.
GREAT! I’ll try this, appreciate it
