HELP.... I think I'm addicted to chickens

I realized I have the the same addiction as everyone else on here when I was offered a new job but had to relocate to an area where I couldn't bring my chickens

. I started panicking and fretting about losing my babies and decided that the pay wasn't any better so I am staying put right where I am with my flock and loving it!

For 3 nights in a row I have had a dream about the day my chicks arrive....

I only planned on 12 or so...

)

I dream that the day ( april 2 ) is here for the chicks to be picked up and on my way home with them, I suddenly remember something important that I forgot to do....like preheating the brooder....or stablizing the temp.....or hanging the thermometers and even forgetting the chick starter!!!

....ETC.....
Just the routine things you have to do before hand....
This is my first time with chicks.....I feel like I am 8 mo pregnant and about to become a Mamma again!! Glad I have all of you enablers to help me get past this diffucult time!!

I started off with agreeing to getting 25 birds at the local feed store chick days LAST year spring. Gezz, has it only been a year ?

In the beginning my husband told me "no chickens period!" Then he went and got 2 chicks. The next week he showed up with 6 more chicks. Now we're up to 100 chickens. Not to mention having moved on to ducks, turkeys and the goats. No one told me that coming to BYC would get me addicted to goats
