Help id a couple of my geese?

Thank you :) I'm going to get my camera and get some better pictures. The phone ain't cutting it, and these animals are a pain to try to get a picture of LOL.

Yeah, they have a bad habit of NOT standing still don't they? LOL. You have a very nice looking group. The spotted one is very pretty...can't wait for a closer photo.

Since catching a good series of photos can be difficult, maybe you can tell us some other specifics that may help with guessing, such as eye color (brown, hazel, dark hazel, blue), how many lobes she has, carriage, any sign of a knob on top of her bill, etc.

Knowing things like that may help some of the more experienced members ID her parentage since certain breeds have some unique characteristics.

No, they are NOT very cooperative. All the animals suddenly get shy when the camera comes out. Drives me nuts haha.

Anyway, this goose looks to have blue eyes. No knob on beak, Body is stocky looking like the toulouse geese we have, while our Chinese seem a little more streamlined in the body. Hope that makes sense haha. The brown/greyish spots on his head & middle back are the same color as the toulouse as well. He has a very mellow personality and is not aggressive to other geese or the ducks. In fact he's quite content to hang out with ducks as well as the geese. He's pretty quiet and doesn't make a whole lot of noise. I'm not really worried about what he is. I was just curious more than anything.

Yeah, I know the feeling. If it wasn't for a really good zoom on my camera, I would have no decent pictures of my geese at all.

Based on eye color alone, according to the APA standard of perfection, these are the breeds that are supposed to have blue eyes:
Tufted Roman
Embden
Pilgrim
Sebastopol
and Pomeranian

Looking at the one photo of the group of your two Toulouse with the spotted mystery goose...it appears to be slightly smaller than the Toulouse. Is that accurate?

Yes, it's slightly smaller than the big toulouse, but I have a smaller toulouse (the one with angel wing in the pics) that's about the same size as the mystery goose. Those two were quite a bit smaller when I got them a couple months ago, but have grown a lot. I just assumed they were younger when I got them, but obviously I have no idea about geese haha (but I'm learnin'!) The pair of white Chinese in the picture both have blue eyes too.

Yeah, White Chinese are supposed to have blue eyes. I didn't list them because mystery goose has no sign of a knob at the base of his/her bill.

If the large Toulouse is a gander, and the smaller a goose, then the mixed one is most likely a medium weight class goose cross of some sort. Unless of course it is still young and has some growing to do, in which case it could be a Toulouse x Embden.

So, let's see....the male Pilgrim is white, grey Pomeranian is white with grayish markings. I think the Roman is too small and unless it is a smooth Sebbie no curly feathers counts that one out too.

There is one other breed I totally forgot about that tend to white with blue eyes and have spots: Cotton Patch geese. Maybe you got lucky and it's not a mix at all, but rather a Cotton Patch. That would be a great surprise!

Like you said though, whatever he/she is really doesn't matter...cause she is so darned cute!
