Help identify this first egg - scratch SF off the list!

I am guessing the silkie did it. My sikie eggs I have in the incubator right now average at 2 inches long. They range from white to light brownish pink. If my computer would agree I would put a pic of them on here. This picture is the first egg my one white silkie hen laid just yesterday. It was just a little over 2 inches in length.

Edited to add: After rereading your original post, I do not think the silkie did it due to her age. Silkies tend to not lay till they are 7-9 months of age. I have never heard of one laying at that age before.

I would love it to be my silkies that did it, because that would mean I have at least one pullet, but...

my silkies are tiny. I can't imagine that egg coming out of something so small.

Do you have or can you put on some pictures of the silkies. I usually am pretty good at sexing them from pictures along with several others from the forum. Preferably close up of the face from the side and from the front. If you put them on here we can take a pretty good guess as them.

I have posted pics of them recently, with mixed results. About half said Jethro was a cockerel (because of wattles), but he acts like a pullet. I know that sounds strange but there is a difference in behavior between pullets approaching POL and cockerels. I spend alot of time just observing my chickens. Also, Jethro is showing interest in the nestbox. Ellie Mae clucks like a pullet, but that does really mean anything to me.

I'll see if I can find the thread.

Here's the thread:

I vote Silkie egg. I caught one of my silkie hens laying this morning, and that's what her egg looked like. It was small-ish and cream-colored. Which is good news for me too, means I know which one is silkie and which is exchequer leghorn now.
