Help identifying "Big Red"?

Big Red looks like a rooster to me but acts like a hen (minus laying eggs yet). He hangs out with hens and has no crow. My other 2 roosters crow and "rule the roost" together. Any help with his breed and sex would be helpful.

It's not even close to a R.I. Red.

Looks like a production red type, with some new hampshire red influence.

Looks like a rooster to me. The pointed hackle feathers and patchy red coloring are two signs.

Not sure how old. I've had the bird for a few weeks. I got a flock from a lady that was moving. He's definitely young but not quite sure how young.

With two older cockbirds, a young cockerel will be deferential and often just keep his mouth shut.
