Yikes about the sick folks in your area, nevertheless the simplest explanation is usually the correct one. I've been fighting flu/sinus infections since this spring. It seems to be mostly due to habitually cleaning my animals' living spaces without a mask. Do you cover up when you clean the coop? I hope you get better soon, keep us posted.
 
Ya know.. I sound like a frog today and I have snot still pouring out of my nose so I think I will have myself a nice Hot Toddy. Cheers to you!
