Help! Impacted crop?

You should massage the crop regularly and make sure it doesn't become stiff/stagnant.
I had this with one of my laying birds before. Turning upside down is a last resort as it can be very dangerous for their breathing. I have had to do this in the past, but only because of how full and stiff the crop was.
Hope the chicken gets better!

Again, her crop was smaller this morning. We’re about at the size of a large marble now so that something! The poor thing was already thin though and I know she’s hungry. Could I try giving her yogurt or something?
If she were mine I would offer her crumbles mixed with water.

I'm sure I covered this in my previous posts....pellets or crumbles (chick crumb is best because of the higher protein content) soaked in water and mixed to a sloppy consistency is what you should have been giving her throughout this process. You could also give her a little scrambled egg for a treat and yes you could mix a little yoghurt into the crumble mash and don't forget the Nutri Drench.

I’ve been feeding her a mix of crumble and water that I put in the blender and I gave her some eggs yesterday. Unfortunately she’s begun to act lethargic and not eat very much. Her crop has shrunk almost completely back to normal, but she’s acting like she’s getting worse.
