HELP! Incubator quit day 26!

LOL what a cute incubator, however, I'm a little concerned about a couple of things but first tell me any internal or external going on yet?

I did a quick candle a few hours ago and they are all moving and a few of them pushing up on the air cell membrane. When do you think I should look again? I am afraid to bother them too much. Also I took all those extra cloths out and only the pot in the middle is supplying the humidity for now and I did go ahead and poke a couple holes in the top of the "lid" (lol) for a bit of extra ventilation.

OH GOOD I was going to say they need some sort of vetilation. Good, There's no gages in there so how are you keeping track of the temp and humdity? Or did I miss it, let me go back

OK, I did miss it, do you have the heating lamp directly on them?

I don't have a hydrometer and there's a thermometer in there in the middle reading around 100 consistently. The heat lamp is a couple feet above them hooked to a microphone stand that I can adjust whenever/if ever I need to. Does that sound okay? When do you think I can check on them again for possible pips?

Well you don't want the heating lamp directly on them, it will cook them, sounds like you have it in a good spot.

If they are pushing on the membrane give them at least 24 maybe longer to internally pip, YOU will hear them, they will not be quiet about it. so lets let them go and see what they do tomorrow..

I got anxious and just finished checking in on them. Had the DH help me take some pics too. Tell me what you think...

(Above) two pics of one egg; this one is pushing up a lot but I don't think it has pipped yet.

(Above) two pics of the same egg; is that a pip inside there? I can hear clicking/tapping when I hold it up to my ear

(Above) pic of "front" of the fourth egg. Duckling is pushing up but no internal pip yet.

(Above) I think we lost this one. Veins aren't as clear and there's no movement. On the other side of it it looks like the duckling was maybe just about to internally pip and just froze there. Perhaps I should do a float test?

Woops I forgot one. There's one more that came before the 2nd to last - also pushing up a lot but no pip pretty sure.

Went ahead and did a float test on the one; it failed. Made a small hole in the top to see in, it looks like the mambrane was really dry or leathery and wrapping the duckling close... I'm guessing that's not normal and is a sign of too much moisture loss/not enough humidity? Good news though, three of the four left are clicking away and I heard one peeping from the inside of the shell. :) Sure hope I can sleep tonight!! Goodnight everyone!

Sorry about the one guy. Sounds like it got shrink wrapped (too low humidity). Glad to hear the others are alive and well, though! :)
