help indentify my new ducks.

Sadly not anymore, I did for a very long time though and they are beautiful. I actually raised american buff geese which are on the conservation list for the USA. I did have to get rid of them however because they traveled a mile away just to attack our nearest neighbors everyday, but they were very sweet to me and as long as you spend alot time with them as babies they should never really grow to be mean towards you :).

My property is fenced so that would help. Lol
I'm looking into buff and pilgrim. Still in the air about getting male/female pairs or straight run. I Want them for weed control not eggs or for us to eat.

Look in into pilgrims here too. For lawn mowing and Christmas dinner

Thanks Bills vs beaks. To be honest I wish I had of received my ducks before I started my chicken venture. I do prefer my ducks and I am looking forward to getting geese.

How do you tell a rouen from a mallard?
700

The larger mallard looking ducking is well on its way to being fully feathered even more so than the Pekin.

Well, my mystery duck has surpassed the mallard in size and is almost the same size as the blue swedish. Lol might be a silver swedish. ( they come in blue, black and silver right? )

But....her feet have gone pale. I really can't wait to see her feathered. Even if she is a mutt.
