Help! Injured duck!

I need some advice from some seasoned duck owners. I had a bird mauled this evening, it looks like something grabbed her by the beak and she got away somehow. The entire top half of her beak has been ripped apart...it isn't gone, but the fleshy potion is all exposed and her nostrils were ripped away. She does not appear to be bleeding heavily, but I am unsure what to do. Has anyone had a bird sustain an injury like this and recover? What should I expect? Any info would be helpful.

It's just awful, I've raised ducks for almost 20 years and never seen something like this. I just have no idea if it is recoverable.

I'm not sure...I don't think she would sit still for that. Not a very tame bird to begin with. Would that help much??
