I got a lame guinea.....

He is hopping along, sometimes putting weight on the toes of his left foot.

It looks like the back toe? spur? area has been damaged. It's sorta just hanging there.
It's red, can't tell if it's dried blood or what? And catch him? not in this life time...however
he is hanging around the back door like he wants me to do something....the other 11 in the
guinea flock run off and leave him.......

Any ideas? thanks ahead of time.

If you can't catch him, you'll just have to wait and see. Not a lot you can do anyway, a little first aid. He'll probably survive it anyway unless it's really serious.

I have to work tonight....but hubby, after much begging, lol, will wait till they roost and take a look at it.

He thinks it sounds like he may have to finish cutting it off, dab on some "stuff" and hope it heals.

thanks guys............oh and the link wouldn't pop up...

I'm thinking a big fishing net on a long pole is in my future...
