HELP!!! Is my chick ok?

The yellow goop looks like normal waste left in the shell. Sometimes the navel doesnt fully close and will look a bit red. The cord might even keep it stuck to the shell for a while. So long as there's not yellow attached to or coming out of it's stomach it should be fine.

It looks yellow near the chicks stomach but nothing is coming out.

Here's a pic of one of my chicks this year. This is about where it would be to be worried about it. Though mainly, you dont want other chicks picking at it. This chick ened up 100% fine i didnt have to do anything different.

Uhhh, heh i hatched a lot of chicks this year. I think that was a barred rock.

Hatching can be super stressful. You'll get used to it after a while.

Ok that makes sense, my batch is a quarter barred rock and they all look like full barred rock chicks.
