this specific chicken is about 5 weeks or 6 i forgot but i’ve noticed that throughout the day it’s always laying down. when we take the chickens out so they can be in the yard the white chicken is always laying down. perhaps it’s too fat to stand? i’m not so sure if it’s normal

That is a Cornish Cross meat chicken.
It is common for that kind to get so fat they have trouble standing.
That is not healthy for them, but it is so common I might consider it "normal."

They are bred to grow big quickly, so they can be butchered around 8 weeks old. By that time they are heavier than adult chickens of most other breeds.

They are not a good choice for pets or egg layers (health problems from growing so big and fat at such a young age.)
