Help! I've got a lame chick!

5 baby Australorps born on 9/2/08. One is holding one leg almost straight out behind her. Won't put any weight on it. Hops on good leg. No sign of cut or injury. Eating and drinking ok but no use of one leg. Time for a trip to the vet?

Has it always been that way? Sounds like a slipped tendon. Use the search button above to find ways to fix it. I'm not sure in a chick that old. You did mean 9/2/08?
