I had mareks at our last house, we moved about 10 months ago, this chicken was about 2-3 months when we moved. We had mareks in one chicken about 2 years ago, obviously this chicken was not alive then but we have chickens who were alive then who are still alive now. Maybe they're carriers and passed it on to her? However the chickens that we had with the chicken who died of mareks are not vaccinated. Is it possible for an unvaccinated chicken to be a carrier?
