I'm not giving up I have 10 eggs in incubator one in hatchery. I'm getting higher protein food. Should I get medicated?
Hoping for a positive result this time

We always recommend feeding starter that is medicated with amprolium, this is to prevent coccidiosis, but I greatly doubt you lost the little one to cocci, unless he had contact with soil or feces from other birds. Still it is good to use the medicated starter for Peachicks.

I have another egg hatching so for this one I need a medicated starter feed game bird?
Can I just get medicated water or feed is better?
Is this one ok to go in with new chicken chick that was with other peacock chick?

Not necessarily medicated, i think as long as you keep it on wire you don't need medicated feed, i really think you should get a higher protein feed, and you can put it with the old chick but i'm afraid the high protein feed could make some legs problems for the chicken chick, even so my brahma chicks will eat 28% protein feed for more than a month without problems.

I'm only raising my chicks on wire, hoping someone else has better advise here.

I use old towels for the first 2 weeks, then wire, no wood chips of any kind until 6-8 weeks old. Also that chicken chick could be a carrier of something that he is not susceptible to, but Peachicks are, since the first one it was with died I would chance it with the second one.

You mean you **wouldn't**, right?
