I just counted and have 13 already laying, 26 chicks and 23 in the bator. Oh my if all the chicks and the ones in the bator are all hens that is 62 hens and 1 Roo. Thank goodness the Roo is seperated or he would be way too busy.

You want help here?

Forget it sista! We are enablers. It took husband dragging me out of the Co-op yesterday..because there were 4 little ones all by themselves, everyone else had been sold. 2 GLW and 2 White leghorns. Oh they were coming home with me and husband caught me headed to check out. hahahahaha Like he would not have heard the peeing on the drive home.

I did just order 21 from Meyer that are coming in July. So, I tried to tell him that I needed to stay in baby practice for when the crew arrives.

First off 14 is your limit, stick to it..... be strong...

Secondly, chickens are your "gate-way" drug. Have you been over to the "Other Birds, poutlry & Fowl" section......... have you seen how cute the quail, baby ducks & geese are.....
