They look like Canada geese to me ... 🤔
I thought the same. The park next to my house used to be covered with Canadian geese up until recently. Apparently the geese were becoming way too aggressive to people so more than half of them are gone now. I've heard that they killed them since they can't redirect them because they're migratory Birds. Smh.
You could always use Mad for Madhouse Pullet and Madd with 2 d's for Maddcatter ...
Lol that's a good one too.

These geese are very loud, not too shy, but they haven't made any moves off the water. I hope we don't have to worry too much about diseases spread by migratory birds this year.

I gave my 2nd little mottled cochin broody some eggs yesterday. I took them from the incubator. They are already on days 14 and 16 of incubation. So far all 6 are moving. 5 bantam and 1 standard brahmax welsummer cross. The bantams are all oegb x sebright or cochin.

The first broody cochin hatched 6 for Easter. I believe there are 4 males & 2 females in that bunch.
Hopefully I'll get a better ratio this time.

Canadian geese can be loud but they mostly hiss at you. They're very territorial. Within city limits, it's cute to have birds at the park but with so many families that like to feed the birds, the migratory birds are less likely to migrate 😂 hahaha speaking of... They're flying over as I type this!

Strictly raise the chickens for eggs. I give the cockerels away as soon as they hit puberty. I'm not planning to keep any cockerels from this bunch, but I need to get cracking on a new shelter for them.

Here are some of the current chicks
