I assume your referring to Brewster. We had him neutered not too long after we adopted him. He and Ruby are fine now. He gets along well with all the animals here, as well as those that visit us.

That's the truth. He has skin allergies too. His diet is costing them a small fortune. He is around 9 years old now.

Our dogs are intact and they have no problems with other dogs.

Have they tried to BARF him and at the same time shear off the long coat to let some fresh air to the skin?

A neighbour switched her male Shi Tzu to BARF and has him sheared off several times a year, he is much better now, although they leave his coat a little longer in winter.

They've sheared him each summer. I don't believe it has helped, although his allergies have gotten better, since they moved from Austin to Bolder last year.

Probably less pollen due to colder winters. That's my guess.
