Help me identify this plant - pumpkin? watermelon? gourd? squash?

One year we had cucumbers and honeydew melon cross pollinate. I wasn't too crazy about them, but hubby and quite a few of his friends really like the "cucu-dews!"

Its a obviously a squrdelokin which is a common cross between a squash, gourd, melon and pumpkin. BTW,the nice thing about zucchini is that it can be combined with just about anything because it has no taste of its own. Also the definition of someone with no gardening friends--they have to buy zucchini.

The leaves look more like melon to me. Looks like a watermelon.

I am going with a waterkin... or punkmelon.

I am going to say pumkin. I do watermelons, and even thou the plant looks water melon, it also looks like cucumber. Is it spongey? The leaves I mean? The fruit itself looks like a pumpkin, but colors wrong. So... It'll be interesting to see what it finally is in the end.
