Sorry for the blurriness and bad quality. That cleansing I did seemed to help alot. There's still all that gunky skin there under the eye, gonna leave it alone for now
Doesn't look so bad now...:woot
Just keep watching it..I have a Rescue Hen that had eye damage around her eye. She healed fine without intervention or meds..
Came after healing was almost complete..

I locked the 2 girls in a cage in the yard, and they and the males are bill to bill between the bars, not leaving each other's side. Why they still love those horrible drakes I don't know, but they hate to be separated.
Put a sheet of plywood between them so they can't see each other..Or set something different up...

I have issues with my chickens and ducks, my chickens try to kill the ducks every chance they get, also, chickens (in my experience) are very very space sensitive, if they feel over crowded in the least, they will attempt to kill as many "invaders" as they can. As far as the eye injury, it doesn't look too bad in the last pictures. Keep it clean with fresh distilled or purified water, I wouldn't use tap. You can also make a cup of chamomile tea, let it cool and rinse it 3 times a day with that, chamomile has anti-infective properties and is an excellent rinse for wounds that are not deep. As for the drakes, it's possible one did it in an attempt to mate, it kind of looks like that's possible because of the missing feathers on the back of the neck which is where my ducks always end up missing feathers when the drakes get amorous but I've not seen them go that far onto the face. Maybe one of them got a little over zealous but honestly, I'm thinking a chicken did it. (my humble opinion)

Poor baby. I’ve had eye surgery twice and had dead tissue removed so I feel her pain. Makes my stomach hurt for her. The good thing is that the eyes and skin around the eye heal really fast. Give her a :hugsfor me.
I will! Thank you guys for all your support and help! I will keep you all posted as things go along, and the progress of her healing. She's going to get some special treats, oatmeal, raisins, and other yummies, maybe a couple baby aspirins. I'm so glad the eye isn't eaten away like I had originally thought. In the beginning it looked like had been nibbled up!
