Help me with my silkies please!

Hello all! I have gotten my fist silkies in well over 20 years. I forgot how hard they are to sex! Any help you can provide is much appreciated as I am trying to plan out my breeding pens.
These fluffs were hatched the last week of Jan so I know it's a bit early.

And this one hatched a few weeks later so even younger.

My gut is that the white bird is a cockerel and the others pullets, but silkies are tough especially when this young.

That was my un-educated guess as well!

I also was thinking pullets for the first two. I suspect the white one may be a cockerel.

May I ask what makes you think pullets? I'm trying to learn so I can be better next time!

The white one is a cockerel. The gray one is also probably a cockerel because of those rusty colored feathers growing in over the wing and shoulder. Not sure on the buff.

I had read about the rusty feathers - isn't that more based on the color genetics rather than the gender?

In partridge, only cockerels get the rusty feathers, and usually on the wing and shoulders.

Top looks to be the only pullet. Bright colors on the shoulders of the middle one give away the gender along with the comb size/color of the youngest
