In partridge, only cockerels get the rusty feathers, and usually on the wing and shoulders.

Ah, this is my first time with a partridge. So now I know!

Hello all! I have gotten my fist silkies in well over 20 years. I forgot how hard they are to sex! Any help you can provide is much appreciated as I am trying to plan out my breeding pens.
These fluffs were hatched the last week of Jan so I know it's a bit early.View attachment 2604152

And this one hatched a few weeks later so even younger.

First thought is white one is a cockeral and other two are pullets. The first one definately looks like a pullet and white definately looks like roo

I agree that the 1st one is a pullet and the other two are cockerels.
