Songster
I just got baby chicks two week ago and I am really nervous that they have a disease. They have watery poop and it smells foul and it seems like they are developing at a slow rate. What should I do?

Welcome to BYC!I just got baby chicks two week ago and I am really nervous that they have a disease. They have watery poop and it smells foul and it seems like they are developing at a slow rate. What should I do?
Welcome to BYC!
What do you feed them?
Do you have other chickens besides these chicks?
Have you ever heard/read about coccidiosis?
Are you in the US?I feed them a beginner chick food that I was given. I have 9 chicks and they all seem to have diarrhea and develop slowly. My Dad said it’s probably nothing. They seem to be active and flying well if that helps. I already read a lot about parasites and diseases such as coccidiosis which i why I am concerned.
I will send you a picture of the food when I get home. Thank you, I will pick the medicine up todayAre you in the US?
Can you get a picture of the feed bag and tag?
Can you pick up some Corid from your feed store today?
Corid should fix them right up.I will send you a picture of the food when I get home. Thank you, I will pick the medicine up today
