Help! Mite infestation!

I have a bad red and also beige mite infestation. What can I do to help? I know that DE isn't the best for chickens. Permethrin10 spray. Available a tsc. Mixes with water. You'll have to treat coop and chickens once a week for 3 weeks.

You can't believe everything you read.
Invest a few dollars in some permethrin if you want to get rid of the mites.

True but it also interesting to see. I think DE is more for preventing mites. Also, what should I do for lice?

DE can't work to kill any bug if it gets even the slightest damp.

Lice...Permethrin too.

Do a search for "DE in nest box full of mites crawling around in it."

I've seen bugs crawl right through DE and it did nothing.
I sprayed a huge spider with just a tiny tiny bit of permethrin spray and that thing went ape crap!
