HELP! My 1.7 year old hen layed a weird egg!

hello guys!
So I have some chicken that is laying really weird shaped eggs. They seem to have an upper part which is smaller and a lower part which is bigger and covers 75% of the egg. And a troubling hint his that they are all laid in my duck coop. This is the second in the matter of 2 days.
WHAT IS HAPPENING??
Unfortunately I cannot attach any photos as my camera is dead. But thanks in advance

Really need to see a pic to even guess at what the problem might be.

My guess from your description, could be a bird who has taken a break from laying and just started laying again. They tend to lay some funky ones when they first start back!

Thanks for the pic, really helps, tho it's what I suspected.
Not normal.
Appears to be a 'slab sided' egg.
Could just be funkiness that can happen as production slows down close to winter break/molting.

One of my 5 hens is laying a small, yokeless egg. All the same age chicken, same environment, same food.
