HELP!! My 5 day old chick seems sick

Chick vitamins are a good idea, since vitamin and mineral deficiencies can be common. Leg bone deformities or slipped tendon can be very common as well. I would keep an eye on her to make sure that she is getting to her food and water.

Yes she is eating and drinking water perfectly, just gave her some of that sav-a-chick vitamins. Fingers crossed that she gets better soon. Someone also told me that something could have stung her which caused her semi-stiff leg.

Status update no improvement but no signs of it getting worse. She is still limping around and still has a nice grip and is fully able to bend her when laying down so it's not stiff(thank god)

Oh..i looked it up..i quess thats normal for that breed. My first thought looking at the pics w/her feet that mayb she has sprained one of her toes based on how she was standing on her foot in the pic

Yes all the Silkies I have have that extra toe it's how I identify them from the rest when they hatch. Yes hopefully it's just a sprain as it would devastate me if we leg was going stiff. But again she does have a good grip is still able to bend her leg to sleep and is eating and drinking well(her water now has vitamins and probiotics).

Status update- she is still not showing any sign of improvement but she is still eating and drink well. Show I be worry that her leg isn't back to normal yet or should I give her more time, she has no other symptoms.
