Hi! My bird somehow hurt her foot she has a little “wound” i think and her foot is swollen and she isn't putting any weight on it when she walks or runs she limps and then puts her foot back up into her feathers, it isn't broken because she does use her injured foot to grip my hand/finger when i pick her up, i have been applying polyfax (its a skin ointment helps reduce pain), other than that I haven't done anything else, so aby ideas what i could do?

Is this a chicken we're talking about? Have you looked at her feet and toenails carefully? If her legs are light colored, you might see greenish bruising. A loose toenail can cause considerable pain, so look them over carefully. Also check that a splinter hasn't lodged under a scale. One time I had a chicken that had a pine cone scale jammed under a scale on their toe.
