HELP! My chicken’s eye is not okay!!

I agree that it can be a respiratory disease. If it is then your other birds may start to show symptoms also. I gave tylon 200, 0.06ml per pound, 3x a day for 5days. Would wipe the eyes gently with a warm cloth to help loosen any gunk that was gluing the eyes together, and I used vetrx to help bring relieve, kind of like how we use vicks. Make sure they're eating and drinking, 2 of mine stopped sonic had to hand feed and water daily. IF this is a respiratory infection then your birds will be carriers for life and you should probably close your flock if you choose to not cull them, no birds in and no birds out.

Thank you! My mom bought something today and it immediately did some dark and smelly #2. Also they are still eating very well so lucky that’s not an issue :) and all the chickens are somewhat like this already but this chicken in the photo Is the one that looks the worse.

If they're all showing symptoms then I would treat them all. Does it smell? If so then it may be coryza which I've heard is the worst of the respiratory infections. Some people decide to cull the entire flock and start over as all of the chickens will always be carriers. If you choose to not go that route then you just have to be extra careful. No bringing in new birds or selling any of yours. Dont go to other people's houses that have chickens and i no longer free range as they can spread it to wild birds who then can spread it to other flocks. My run is plenty big that they dont have to free range but definitely something to think about. This will never go away. You will just be treating the symptoms as they occur which can be during any stressful time for them such as change of food, housing, molting, extreme heat or cold.

Is there a nasty rotten carcass or fish smell to her face? If so, you’re most likely dealing with Infectious Coryza, if not, then it’s most likely Mycoplasma Gallisepticum (MG)
