HELP!! My chicken ate carpet

My girl has been in the house for the last few weeks. I let her out of her kennel so she doesn’t get lonely and can walk around a little while. I noticed that she has been pulling the edge of the carpet and eating the fibers. I tried to catch her, but she ate it before I could get to her. She’s done it a couple times. I’m afraid it’s going to get stuck in her crop. If she does manage to pass it, should I be looking for carpet in her poop?
