Help! My chicken got impaled by a stick!

Do you look like an alien yet? All bluish-grey? Are any of your animals alien looking yet? I read somewhere that colloidal silver has side effects, one being, that it might turn you bluish- grey!!! Omg!!! Can you just jimagine a bunch of grey aliens running around that are really just a bunch of humans that had side effects from colloidal silver?!!

Anyways, back on topic!!! Sorry to hear about your baby! I would probably treat the wound as already stated by the other's.. One possible scenario, might end up with a beautiful alien chicky running around all bluish-grey!! I wouldn't worry though, its probably just a rare human side effect..

yes very rare indeed , & some guy did that to him self to make money as the blue man....lol... & from what I've read you would have to drink galleons of colloidal silver every day for months to turn tour self blue , and if you did that their is a cure ....lol... but im sure no one is that crazy to try and turn them selves blue like that , o yes and I would recommend to give a drop or 2 of colloidal silver to the wounded hen , it will most certainly help...!!!

I think that was "blue man group" the blue dude's that sang that song " I'm blue da dee dee da dee da, da dee Dee da dee da" neat video btw.. Hehe..

That is good to know though about the colloidal silver stuff.. I heard about it when I was a kid by some old dude. I will have to get some my self and try it, it doesn't seem too cost too much, from what I've looked up anyways.. Thanks again hon.

Update: Thank you for all of the great advice. I really love this site and have used it to look up a variety of different topics.
My girl healed up just fine. I treated her with antibiotics ointment the first day and then applied AluShield the second day. She was laying again after 2 days!
I also figured out how she got impaled, she was jumping to eat leaves from a bush and landed wrong! There's always something to learn about chickens. Now, those dang squirrels!!!
