Help! my chicken has a protruding bottom with ulcers

Thanks for the reply, I have pushed it back in but she forces it out again....even holding her for half an hour with pressure on it trying to keeping it in won't keep her from pushing it out again....I could feel an egg inside her also....She is in the dark have used honey and coconut oil which is a natural antiseptic not sure what to do from here...;-(

That egg needs to come out or she will die. Try giving her some human calcium , that will help her pass the egg (500-1000 mg is what I usually give my full sized hens) and then keep her in your bathroom full of steam. If that doesn't work, try giving her warm water soaks.

Thanks for your comments and info friends, unfortunately her bottom became to infected and I had to put her down:-(
