help! my chicken has stopped laying eggs!

My Blackstar Sam has stopped laying eggs. She is 3 years old . she has a sister who is from the same batch of chicks,is the same breed, is the same age, who is laying almost an egg a day . can someone tell me why she stopped!? :/

Sometimes hens just stop laying, every hen is different so they stop at different ages. One of my hens stopped laying at 3 years old and I know someone else who has eight 3-4 year olds and six of them still lay. So I wouldn't worry, although I would check to see if she is egg-bound just in case.

And she may not have stopped laying for good, sometimes they just like to take an egg laying hiatus

I did check for egg binding.... But she has not laid for a month or more

Then she is either moulting, has given up laying or is just on a laying hiatus. Like I said in my previous post; every hen is different and high production breeds are prone to stop laying earlier.
